Troubleshooting Steps
Verify Game Integrity:
Verify the integrity of GTA V files
on Steam or Epic Launcher or Rockstar Launcher to ensure there are no corrupted
files.
Reinstall FiveM:
Uninstall FiveM, delete all related
files from %localappdata%\FiveM, and reinstall the latest version of FiveM.
Update GPU Drivers:
Ensure you have the latest NVIDIA or
AMD graphics drivers installed (consider rolling back to a stable version if
you're using a beta driver).

You can find out what graphics card
you have by clicking on your Windows start button >> type: System Info
>> Components >> Display >> Name
Clear Server Cache:
Delete the FiveM cache in %localappdata%\FiveM\ cache
and try again.

Windows start button >> type:
run >> enter >> then paste: %localappdata%\FiveM\
Remove Texture Packs:
Remove all custom texture packs or
mods that might be interfering with the game.
Disable Overlays:
Turn off overlays in applications
like Discord, NVIDIA GeForce Experience, Steam, or Xbox Game Bar.
Change Power Management Settings:
Set power management to Prefer Maximum Performance in NVIDIA
Control Panel.

“Edit Power Plan” >> select Change advanced power settings >> Drop
down to change to Maximum Power

Security → Device Security
→ Core Isolation.
Check Game Mode and Graphics Performance Preferences:
Enable Game Mode in Settings
→ Gaming, and set FiveM to High Performance under Graphics Settings.
Disable Full-Screen Optimizations for FiveM:
Right-click on FiveM.exe → Properties → Compatibility
→ Disable fullscreen optimizations.
Update Windows 11:
Ensure all Windows 11 updates are
installed, especially any optional updates related to drivers or system
improvements.
Check GPU Settings:
In NVIDIA Control Panel → Manage 3D Settings, turn off Image Scaling, set Low Latency Mode to Off, and ensure Threaded Optimization is enabled.

need to open the fivem.cfg file

false
Adjust Windows Virtual Memory Settings:
Set a custom page file size in System Properties → Advanced → Performance → Virtual
Memory.
Run Hardware Stress Tests:
Use tools like FurMark (GPU), Prime95 (CPU), and MemTest86
(RAM) to check for any hardware instability.
Check Windows Reliability Monitor:
Open Reliability Monitor from the Start menu and look for any related
error logs that could provide additional crash information.
Clean Boot Your PC:
Perform a clean boot by disabling
all non-Microsoft services and startup items to rule out background
interference.
Reinstall FiveM and GTA V Dependencies:
If issues continue, reinstall both FiveM and GTA V to rule out corrupted files or installations.
Use Compatibility Mode:
Right-click FiveM.exe, go to Compatibility
